Tobias first posted examples of his work on the Glowforge Community forums and these are some of the first few examples of products being made using our software which was very exciting to see and we are happy to showcase his awesome work with the Glowforge forum over here
1.) Who are you, where are you from and what do you do?
I am Tobias, an orthotist by profession and a very happy laser-hobbyist. I live in Trondheim, Norway.
2.) What lasers and software do you work with?
I use a Glowforge basic and Adobe Illustraotor for most of my projects.
3.) Whats your favourite thing about making products with maps on?
I love the possibility to make something very personal and recognizable on a beautiful piece of wood for every day use. That means you are able to make a unique present that will actually be used regularly.
Ever since I ordered my laser many years ago I wanted to engrave maps- however, I never got the time to learn how to prepare the files. Now, I can simply download ready-to-print files that work great!
